Following the Government’s recent national lockdown announcement that all non-essential shops are to close from Thursday 5th November we can confirm that the Derby Centre will remain open for essential retailers including pharmacies and supermarkets, selected brands operating a click and collect service, and restaurants, cafes and eateries offering takeaways.
A small number of our team will be on hand to make sure our centre remains a clean and safe place to visit.

Getting here by foot
The centre can be accessed on foot via the below entrances:
- The Spot (near Poundland)
- London Road
- Albion Street
- East Street
Getting here by car
When driving to the centre, you can park in our Basement or Bradshaw Way car parks. Our Centre and Riverside car parks will be closed.
In times like these, we are doing everything we can to help, we know it’s a small gesture, but as of today anyone who wishes to park in our Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks can do so free of charge. This will help our visitors who need to pick up any essential items and click and collect parcels.
The below toilets will remain open.
- Level 1 between Marks & Spencer
- Level 1 opposite Sainsbury’s and next to the Eagle Market
- Parent rooms and disabled toilets in both of these locations will also remain open.
Customer services facilities
Our Customer Service desk will be closed from Thursday 5th November, therefore the below services will not be available on your next visit.
